IRRICAD is AEI SOFTWARE's flagship product, offering substantial benefits to designers of all types of pressurised irrigation systems. It is a totally integrated, stand alone design facility which removes most of the tedious aspects of design, yet still allows the designer to make important decisions. The package provides an opportunity to maintain a high level of client service, even when time is short. It also discriminates our client's services from that of their competitors.

The package is also routinely used by a large range of commercial irrigation companies (suppliers, dealers, consultants, etc.) in about 30 different countries around the world. It is also used by educational institutions in irrigation design courses or masters projects.

Some of the additional features added since v9.10 include:

• OLE Functionality
  It is now possible to embed documents, spreadsheets and other objects in your Irricad design.
   
• Plot Template Keywords
  Numerous new keywords have been enabled for use in plot templates.
   
• Valve Connector Tool
  A new tool has been added that will automatically connect valvels to the nearest mainline pipe.
   
• Management Symbol
  When graphical management is performed, a symbol representing the shift pattern is automatically created. This symbol can then be included in the design.
   
• Block Entity Pipe Stubs
  Pipe stubs on the ends of the submain, and between the submain and the valve can now be automatically created for block entities.
   
• Roll Lengths and Rounding in Labels
  Numeric values in labels can now be rounded and lengths can be expressed as 'number of rolls'.
   
• Label Text Colour
  The text colour of labels can now be specified.
   
• Hydraulic Gradeline
  A new tool has been added which can display the hydraulic gradeline for spraylines, tapes, submains and mainline pipes.
   
• Min/Max Pressure Labels
  A new tool has been added that will display the location and value of the minimum and maximum emitter pressures for each zone.
