Re: Irricad running in background

Hi Corby,

In addition to what Jo said, it might also be Irricad "sub-processes" that are keeping Irricad 'alive'. Are you shutting down with the Google Earth import utility open? Or a report window?

Re: Command not implemented for Irricad objects, INPT 98

Hi Pablo, Due to the challenge of maintaining hydraulic connectivity, some CAD functions do not currently work on Irricad objects. This message comes up if you have Irricad objects in your selection when trying to use, for example, the TRIM command. If you ensure that your selection does not contain...

Re: Error Logs don't show

Hi, Another thing to check is that ReportViewer.exe is present and you can run it. We have had some instances of anti-virus software quarantining this file. If your anti-virus software has grabbed this file, you'll need to release it and configure an exception to prevent future problems. Could you ...

Hi Kyle,

Not sure what else to try. Could you please screen shot the error message and send it to support at irricad dot com?

Thanks,

Re: Link licence transfer

Hi Kyle, Just to confirm... You have BricsCAD v18 and BricsCAD v19 installed? You can run up both versions, and the last one you ran (and closed) was v18? You are trying to install the Link v16.06 full package for BricsCAD v18, not the Link v16.13 patch? When you run the Link install, it can't find ...

Re: Link licence transfer

Hi Kyle,

Trying running BricsCAD v18 first before running the Link install, otherwise Link will probably think you don't have BricsCAD v18.

(BricsCAD tends to remember which version and profile you last executed)

How To: Add your logo to an Irricad Link layout

Irricad Link comes with some pre-installed file templates, which include paper-space Layouts. The Layouts contain the Irricad logo, but you may wish to replace this with your own company branding. This guide will focus on modifying a pre-installed Irricad template to include different branding. For...

Toolbar ghosting / positioning problems on hi-res monitors

Some problems with ghosting or positioning toolbars or buttons have been reported while customising Irricad on high resolution monitors under Windows 10. These problems can be alleviated by changing the "High DPI Settings" on your Irricad shortcut as follows: Right-click your Irricad shortcut and ch...

Re: Previewing .vcs files.

Hi Brayden,

It is relatively quick to load all symbols into Irricad to preview in the symbols dialog. You can load all the symbols in one go by selecting all of the files in the "Load" dialog.

It sounds like you may not have permissions to change the necessary registry entries. Does that sounds like a possibility?

Re: Mainline pipes not joining in IrriCAD Link

Hi Jim,

Do you mean when drawing mainline pipes they aren't connecting to each other?
Or are you using Irricad's 'Check Connectivity' tool?

Re: .dez not listed in Default Apps

You can re-establish the Irricad file association in Windows 10 by right-clicking a .dez file and choosing the "Open With", then "Choose another app" option. Remember to also select "Always use this app to open .dez files" to make the change permanent.

Re: Moving a sub-main

Hi Kyle, How you approach this depends on how the block and sub-main were created originally. If you have a simple block of laterals (i.e., not a block entity) you can select all the submain pipes and junctions and use the Move tool to adjust their position. You can also do this in a block entity, ...
