Re: Symbols
I discovered that the symbol name cannot contain certain characters. For example, I was using the name 3" control valve and the inch symbol (") was the issue. Although, the symbol would be loaded within the drawing the file was not being created.

Symbols
When I create a symbol it doesn't save it in the symbols/database folder. The first symbol created has a file in this folder but all subsequent symbols aren't.
I have a drawing that I created all of the symbols in. I am going through selecting one symbol at a time and using the create symbol tool ...

Re: Crashing when repairing and running reports
I believe that was the cause. I isolated groups of materials and exported them individually. This process worked for all but a few; which I then hard keyed into my parts list. With what you said, I investigated it and the items I could not export were assemblies I had duplicates of; one under the ...

Re: Crashing when repairing and running reports
By isolating the components as design only and removing any errors in the fittings, i have been able to get some of the material. In the process i discovered that the misc. hydraulic items seem to be the culprit when it comes to generating a report. If i turn all misc hydraulics to design only then ...

Crashing when repairing and running reports
I have IrriCAD v13.28. I am having trouble with 2 of 3 designs i am currently working on and this has been the first instance of this issue. When i try to run a materials report from the costing/BOM reports the system freezes and/or crashes. I tried repairing the design but IrriCAD crashes when it ...

Re: Spray block entity emitter won't update
I am using version 13.28 of IrriCAD. The design doesn't matter as I have tested it several different ways in new designs. I have deduced that this issue only pertains to sprinklers with various nozzles. When I create a spray block for Sprinkler A and with nozzle C (the 3rd nozzle on the drop down ...

Spray block entity emitter won't update
I have created a spray block entity for a jet emitter. The hose and emitter are created correctly. However, when I open the spray block dialog box it reverts to another jet emitter. The hydraulics work out correctly but IrriCAD continuously wants to repair the emitters.

Re: Modeling multiple tapes
What I am refering to as tapes is for example a 20mm PE hose with 1 gph inline dripper @ 36". We typically put two hoses per row coming off a single riser from the manifold. I have been modeling a single hose as a dual hose by doubling the flow and increasing the diameter. The work around I found ...

Modeling multiple tapes
I have been modeling a dual hose dripline system with a single hose based on the posts in the How To... forum. I realized that my hose loss for the modeled single line is higher than my calculated losses; almost a 1 psi difference. I have attempted to rectify the modeled single line hose loss by ...

Re: Difficulty reading design file
Thank you. Your comment helped. I run into this typically with larger designs when I am isolating blocks to fine tune the design.

Difficulty reading design file
When running any Zone Design I get two warnings: IDE_DES_445: Difficulty Reading temporary zone design file and IDE_DES_401: Difficulty reading design file. I have tried repairing the drawings and restarting IrriCAD.
