Re: database
Hi

Re: Importing elevation data procedure
I'm sure you will have done this already but it is worth noting that all the design/analysis processes will need to be rerun after any changes to elevations in a design (such as adding them). The design processes (and the checks Jabes mentions) will automatically re-interpolate the elevations.

Re: BOM with costs -- running cost reported -1
The -1 indicates that an error was encountered when trying to calculate the running costs. The most common cause of this is if mainline design/analysis hasn't been run, this is required before the running costs can be calculated.

Re: Irrigation Design without actual laterals
Hi
One approach would be to use Mainline demand points to represent each zone in terms of flow and required pressure. You may also need to fully draw and design a small number of zones to determine the requirements for the demand points, if these aren't known. Note that in these types of design ...

Hi
From your description I think that using "unconnected" spraylines (or sprayline block) will allow you to do what you wish. Have a look at the "Help topics" in the program for more information, or contact your local support.

Re: Irricad/Autocad Link Access Driver
Hi Chris
IRRICAD Link installs MS Access drivers but it's unnecessary to have Office 365 (or MS Access) or upgrade either to run Link. The post above mentions that if you DO have Office 365 then an upgrade can "break" the drivers that IRRICAD uses (although we made changes to V19 Link to make the ...

Re: regulate on submains
Hi Jeremy
Yes it is possible to do this (assuming you mean a single regulator that is in-line in the sub-main). The process is relatively easy:-
1) Add the regulator (if it isn't already there) into the "Other Hydraulic" tab of your database and set the fitting type to PRV (see the IRRICAD ...

Re: Failed to open ErrorLog.txt on Start
Hi Steve
This looks like some sort of folder/file security issue. When IRRICAD is installed it sets up permissions on for the installed folder so that the Errorlog.txt file (and others) can be created and written to (I'm not sure how this would have changed). You can check this by simply right ...

The use of IRRICAD Link (or standalone) is controlled by the dongle so there is no licence to transfer (simply install Link and plug the dongle into the other computer).

Re: Changing elevation data in design
Running "Interpolate Elevations" from the "Design" menu will re-create the DEM but obviously this will take account of any existing IRRICAD contours or spot heights. As previously mentioned unless your GPS data has been imported via the "Import Contours" function it cannot effect the DEM. If it was ...
