Hi Nick,
We'd like to understand, if we can, what is causing these errors. I appreciate it's difficult to send us a "bugged" file if you can't save it, but logs (as per Jo's post above) might be illuminating, if this error crops up again.
Even the AUDIT log (from the command line) which tells us ...

Re: Inaccessible Corrupted DWG File
Why not just automatically run an AUDIT after RECOVERY? (Why is there an option?)
That would be ideal, but unfortunately it isn't possible. There is no real way to detect RECOVER from within the plugin - internally it just looks like you are opening a file. Indeed, in some situations Irricad may ...

Re: Inaccessible Corrupted DWG File
Hi All,
Just to agree - AUDIT will be your best option to fix problematic files, if the problem is an Irricad one and can be repaired. If you find any problems that AUDIT cannot fix, please send them to us and we'll see if a fix can be added to the AUDIT command.
Nick, you are right - using ...

Re: DRONE IMAGE IMPORT
It is difficult to say without knowing the image format in question, but Irricad Standalone is certainly limited in the size of images it can display. Note this limitation is to do with allocatable video memory and thus relates to the physical image size (i.e. pixel dimensions) rather than the file ...

Re: Edit/change Zone names
Hi Nick,
You can do this in the "Valve Specification Summary" dialog.
Remember you'll need to re-run design/analysis to update the names in the design files after renaming.

Dan

Re: Object images in GE
Hi Nick,
The images come from our web server and they cannot currently be easily customised.
In theory, you could save a KML file from Irricad and change the style file references to point at your own style file / images, but that requires a fair bit of work and background knowledge.

Dan

Google Maps Platform Update
Hi All,
If you use Irricad’s Google Earth Import utility, you may have recently received an email from Google regarding changes to the way the Google Maps Platform is to be charged and billed.
This may raise concerns about unexpected costs due to your API usage. However, we believe that with ...

Re: change System/zone flow units label
Hi Sergio,
The unit keywords texts (e.g. #LARGEFLOWUNIT#) are derived from the unit strings, which are fixed in all cases, as per what you can see in the unit settings. You can, nominally, just replace that directly with the string you want (i.e., instead of using the keyword #LARGEFLOWUNIT# just ...

Re: Filling a Reservoir
Without seeing your design in detail (e.g., pump arrangement etc.) I can only make general recommendations. The Irricad solver only evaluates elevations at the ends of pipes, so your observation is basically correct. To get Irricad to account for the elevation rise, place a junction in the pipeline ...

Re: Block flow rates change after zone design
Hi Guilherme,
Prior to design, flows may be quoted in Irricad based on the nominal flows from the database e.g., SDR for tapes.
After the design process the actual flows are used where appropriate. You may have a mismatch between these in your database.
One thing to note, for instance, is that the ...

Re: Drip Sides on Curves
Hi Rubem,
While you can draw a tape with as many segments as required to form a pseudo-curve, this can be a lot of work.
However, Irricad can convert curved lines into polyline tapes that are a usually good representation:

Hi Ari,
Just an extra note...all the report functions have a "List" option which will give you access to the new reports without you needing (necessarily) to customize your menus and toolbars.
: IRR_REPZONE
Please enter Zone Report template name or (LI)st:Li

Hi Ari,
As per "Opening Version 21 Files in Other Versions of IRRICAD" in the Irricad Release notes, you first need to export your design from Standalone as an "AutoCAD Conversion File (*.daz)" using File|Export . This can then be imported into Link using the IRR_FILEIMPORT command Irricad Import ...

Re: Math functions for more Label fields
Hi Nick,
Yes it should work for any integer value. Note that that isn't the method used by the "round down" example though. That simply subtracts the remainder of dividing the number by the specified value (100) from the original value.

Dan

We have typically only applied rounding to real numbers. Since the values you are interested in are integers, rounding doesn't work on them directly. This is the first time we've encountered a request to round integer values - mostly people want the exact number! With that said, you can ...

I understand it's a problem you're having with the forum, but in order to not further added unrelated posts to this topic, could you please email 'support at irricad dot com' with a description of your Forum problem. When does it occur? What do you see? Any error messages?
Thanks!
