Is it possible to import an image saved from Google earth and re-size based on the measurement bar shown on the image?
If not, please advise as to how to obtain a scalable image that may be used as a "backdrop" over which to design a project that will be accurate as to scale.

Hi Mike,

All images can be scaled using Tools|Scale Image. The 'scale reference' can be any length or known distance on the image.
