Blue Screen with 11.12 on Windows 7

So I updated my Irricad the other week back to 11.12 (I had previous issues after my update back on Windows XP).

Currently, I'll be working on a project and I'll step away from my desk or check my e-mail for a minute and then come back and save the design so I can pick back up on the project later. When I click on save it will "blue screen" the PC. I have auto-save turned off in the program and that solved it for about a week the previous time.

PC is a:

Dell Optiplex 380
Pentium Dual-Core E5800 @ 3.2GHz
4.0 GB RAM
32-Bit OS

These work computers have issues constanstly and could it be that because I'm saving to a remote server in another town it's glitching? I've been dealing with computers my whole life and with CAD programs that take a lot more processing power, so it's been surprising that I've had this many issues.

Hi,

If you have IRRICAD Pro Version 12 you may contact Nelson Irrigation for direct support at support@nelsonirrigation.com .

It is not clear from your post but did you uninstall V12 and revert back to V11.12 on your XP system? If so then we would recommend that you upgrade to V12 which is likely to be more compatible with Windows 7.

Generally a Blue Screen is much more likely to be caused by a driver rather than an application, note that Irricad blue screening isn’t something that we encountered before. If you don’t have V12 or the problem persists then our suggestion would be to upgrade the drivers for your video card and the IRRICAD dongle (Safenet Sentinel). The latest version of the Sentinel driver is V7.6.5 (you can check which version is installed under “Control Panel/Programs and Features”) and can be downloaded from:-
http://www.irricad.com/irricad/download ... r7.6.5.exe .
