Double Click to open Irricad Job

Hello,
Another useful feature as found in most software would be to able to navigate through the computer's directories and being able to double click on a .des file and directly opening up the job in Irricad.
At the moment double clicking on a .des file only opens Irricad, but not the job.

Hi Kosi,
This should work.
Is your file association correct?
(if you are comfortable in the registry look at:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Winicad.exe\shell\open\command
it should say something like:
"C:\Program Files\AEI Software\IRRICAD Pro 10\Winicad.exe" %1)

Hello Kosi, Dan
I cannot get this function to work either.
It just opens an untitled IrriCad project.
Kind Regards,

This should be fixed in the v10.5 installation, but in the mean time the attached .Reg file will fix the association. Just download, double click the file and confirm that you do want the settings added to the registry.
Note that this file assumes you are running v10 and have it installed at "C:\Program Files\AEI Software\IRRICAD Pro 10\winicad.exe\". You can modify this path using Notepad if necessary, but please note and retain the double backslashes and the backslash-quote combinations, they are important.
However, the usual caveat applies whenever you are changing registry settings - if you have any doubt about your ability to do this successfully, please seek expert advice. Making the wrong change to the registry can cause a lot of problems on your system.

Another case of Windows trying to be over-helpful...
If the above doesn't work look at the following registry location:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\applications\Winicad.exe\shell\open\command
If you have two entries that look like this:
Reg.png
Then you need to rename the 'command' entry under the (Default) (e.g., to '_command' or the like).
