Corby,
I think your best bet is to get RTK gps of the field. You know that will be accurate. Otherwise, with Intermap select your AOI to fully utilize the $400 minimum.

Once again, Gennaro, that is a great suggestion. I agree. That would make a fantastic add on.

Re: Pipe Crossing Hop
Great idea, Gennaro!
That would also simplify a lot of things for me.
What about it, Irricad? (I know, you just released a new version, and we want more....but hey, that keeps you on your toes.)
Btw, I have like V11, so far.

Re: Pipe reduction symbol
Gents,
I think the reducer symbol is a great idea. Only problem was, I missed how to add it.
Dan, did you send them the files to get that working? Do I need to change a setting?
Thanks,
John

Re: Contour line feature
Jo, Thanks for the reply. My mistake. I was relying on my contour button. Thanks for the reminder about the extra tools in the drop down. Dan, Yes, I am most diffidently using the import contours feature. Like I mentioned in my email, I can send you the files, so you can see what I am talking about....

Re: Coordinate help
Dan,
That is correct. My suggestion is for Irricad to be able to work in geographical coordinates. Ideally it would be an option.
Thanks.

Re: Coordinate help
Right now most of my data has been .dxf files.
So are you saying that IC has the ability to use regular geographic cords? And the cords are based on what the original file's cords are?
Thanks for your help.

Contour line feature
I would like to suggest a feature that converts a selected entity to a contour line. For example. I currently have a .dxf file that did not pull in any elevation data. All of the contours are in place, except they are all lines segments. It would be nice if we could select a line, select the contour...

Re: Coordinate help
Dan,
Thank you for the reply. I will do as you suggest.
However, that will be a tough transition for me. Could I submit a suggestion for Irricad to be able to read geographic cords? I know that would be very helpful to me.
Thanks.

Coordinate help
Okay, here is my latest question. I am importing elevation data as a .dxf .xyz or .shp. If I remember correctly, Irricad uses state plane coordinates, correct? I am trying to figure out how to correlate between the state plane cords, and the typical geographical lat/long that Google Earth uses. Here...

Re: Error message
Thanks for the replies. Dan, I appreciate that. I will make sure, but I don't think that is the issue. I went to dinner the other night with something on my esc key. When I came back it hadn't finished giving all of the error messages....so... Jo, I think you hit it spot on. Mike from support, over ...

I wasn't sure which message board to post this under, so I am putting it here. Feel free to move it. I am getting this error message when I try to run a LP on the zones. The problem is, there is not any bends at all in my zones. I am perplexed. Can someone lend me a hand. Oh, and does anybody know w...

Report formatting
I am having some trouble with my reports. The text doesn't fit on the page, and it looks really strange. Is what it looks like to me, is the font is too big for the page.
Can you all help me out with what the issue is?
Thanks

Re: Opening Irricad files
Thank you, sir. I had been wondering the same thing myself. So if I understand you correctly, Irricad uses multiple files during the design process. When a designer wants to send a file to another designer he must go in and copy out all of the supporting files. Then the designer who is receiving the...

Re: Elevation data
Gentlemen, Thank you for the replies. Dan, your information was very interesting. First off, rest assured I have spent a significant amount of time using google as I try to find the data I am searching for. I am aware of a place that provides contours in five foot increments. The problem arises from...

Elevation data
Hello, I am new to Irricad, so please stay with me during my learning curve. I attended the Irricad foundation/training course, which I found very beneficial. My question is, where can I get data information? Google Earth has the elevation data, but to date there is no way to access that data. I kno...
