Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
Hi James, I was thinking that the issue might be the default template you are using in IRRICAD Link, however with your edit now saying BricsCAD won't load with the Irricad64.brx APPLOADed that doesn't seem likely. To fix your plain BricsCAD try starting it in safemode so that you can unload the Irri...

Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
There is another check you can do in BricsCAD to check if it is hanging when loading the Irricad64.brx file. 1. Open plain BricsCAD. 2. In Settings|Settings (or CONFIG on the command line) open Program Options|Files 3. In the "Support file search path" add the location of your Irricad fold...

Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
This could be a dongle issue. Are you able to run Standalone on your computer or try your dongle on another computer that has IRRICAD? The other issue could be that you no longer require the other V20 brx type that was previously used on your computer. (Note this issue has been overcome in Version 2...

Thank you for letting us know.
We do not have a standard menu option for the IRR_FILEGEIMPORTKML command.
Someone has added it to your menu and used the command for Import Data.

Re: link import from KML not working
Hi Ari, 1) Are you able to successfully use Import from Google Earth ? 2) Try and access the functionality outside of BricsCAD. To do this:- a) Run a command prompt (CMD) b) Browse to your IRRICAD Link folder by changing the directory, e.g., cd C:\ cd program files cd irricad cd irricad link for bri...

Re: link import from KML not working
Hi Ari, It does sound like the cause is the issue you tried to fix with Dan's post. Please check that the version of your IrricadGEImport.exe is 1.0.8796.17033. You can do this by browsing to your installed IRRICAD Link folder, commonly located in C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link BricsCAD, and ...

Re: IrriCAD Link V21 - Civil 3D 2023 fatal error
Unfortunately, it does appear that Link Version 21.XX.33 has an issue with trimming unconnected spraylines when using the Irrigation Spray Block options, causing a crash in AutoCAD and leaving open transactions in BricsCAD. Until this is fixed the method to use is the Trim Spraylines tool available ...

Re: IrriCAD Link V21 - Civil 3D 2023 fatal error
Hi Pancho,
Do you mean that the design has a fatal error upon opening or when you are trying to edit the design in 21.23.33?
It sounds like you will need to send your design for us to have a look at. You can send this to your local support team or to us at Support@IRRICAD.com.

Re: Wish - System flows dialog to match Area Colors
You are able to place the management symbol on the screen / model by:- - in IRRICAD Standalone – after graphical management go to Draw|Management Symbol . - In IRRICAD Link - after graphical management go to Insert|Insert Block. In the dropdown list look for the “IrricadManagement” block. The IRRICA...

Re: Wish - System flows dialog to match Area Colors
Thank you for the suggestion, I have added it to our requested features list. Note that in some situations a zone is in multiple system flows and this won’t be able to be indicted in the floating dialog, as the hatching will be a combination of the colours. For your side question I’m not exactly sur...

Re: travel time
The “Maximum Lateral Travel Time” noted in the Zone Summary report is the travel time just for the longest lateral in the zone, from the start of the lateral to the end of the lateral. You will also see this value in the Zone Travel Time Report “Lateral” column when you locate the longest lateral. T...

Re: nominal specific discharge rate (lph/100)
Typically the "Nominal Specific Discharge Rate" is based on the nominal flow rate. However if you always use a higher pressure you can adjust the SDR to suit. Note that in IRRICAD you can only specify the nominal tape inlet pressure and not the nominal pressure required at the emitters. Th...

Re: Filling a Reservoir
The water supply pressure is being calculated on providing the required pressure at the outlet, and not the highest elevation along the way. However with the permanent junctions along the pipeline IRRICAD tell you the pressure (positive or negative) at these points. Also note that in your example th...
