Re: Row Count for Valve Locations Label

Hi Steve,

Currently there isn't a way for the labels to 'count' the rows to the valve position.
Because valves can be connected directly the submain or on a stalk, or submains may have branches in them it may be quite difficult to program for this.
The only automatic location option presently is to ...

Re: Error message

Hi Nawar,

Are you receiving the message "Branches or bends not allowed..."? Where you have a submain transecting a dripline this will not cause the message however additional junctions, tapes feeding into other tapes, a Misc. Hydraulic item on a tape, or an additional submain will cause this ...

Re: is it possible to create irrigation block with "groups of groups" like in greenhouses?

Hi Ari,

The Irrigation Block tools only allow for one set of grouping.
You would have to make each "6 sets of 3 laterals" as one irrigation block, without an automatic valve placement, and then feed all 10 irrigation blocks from one manually placed valve. Therefore you still only have the one zone ...

Hi Pablo,

One way to find the pipe in question is to use the "Query" in the Database Editor.
The tab can be found after the "Nozzles" tab, after being turn on via Tools|Options - enable the "Show Query tab" option.
Once in the Query tab you can load standard queries from the dropdown or you can ...

Re: "Branches or bends in tapes or drip lines are not allowed"

Hi Nawar,

In Version 21 and older versions, a tape cannot have more than one connection. As long as the tape is a 'polyline' it can have bends in it but once additional junctions or connections are present you will receive the message. In these cases the tapes will not be able to be drawn exactly ...

Re: main line valves open/close by system flow?

Hi Ari,

Misc. Hydraulic items do not have an on/off function and cannot determine what is included in a system flow.

To analyse the system when the isolating valve is closed you will need to ensure that no zones downstream from the isolating valve are included in the system flows.
One method to ...

Hi Pancho,

In IRRICAD Standalone check Settings|Import/Export Settings .
The dialog will display the "Import Settings" and the "Export Settings".
For the "Export Settings" is the "Base Export Unit" set to Feet ?
If so, change this option to Meter and export to .Daz file again.

If this does not ...

Re: computer selection fittings

Hi Davie,

When the lateral is on the end of a submain (where there is no submain stub beyond the end laterals) IRRICAD will look for a bend/elbow to connect the submain to the lateral.

To fix this, there are two solutions:-
1. Enter or enable the required fittings to go from the 50mm submain to ...

Re: Adding details to plot layout

Hi Jarrad,

Thank you for your questions.

1) You can draw a scale bar and save it as a symbol. This can be saved in the plot template via the Plot Template menu commands.
See Help|Help Topics for information about making symbols and editing the Plot Templates.

2) You can copy and paste this on to ...

Hi Nick,

Please note that any additions made since Version 16 will be in the Release Notes. However, the addition of the "S" usage code was added in a later patch for Version 20 so does not appear in the V20 Release Notes.

The Readme says: A new usage flag "S" (specify) has been added for pipes ...

Re: Hand select Pipe code

Hi Nick,

Please note that there is already a usage code for what you require. It is "S" for mainline pipes that can only be manually selected.
("F" is the equivalent zone pipe usage code).

Hi Nick,

UNDO can be used but only once you have exited the tool.
To have access to UNDO while still in the tool might be technically difficult to do.

Re: Change Map image date?

Hi Nick,

The Google Maps API that we use in our Import from Google Earth utility does not have any way of selecting the date of the imagery. You would need to obtain the older imagery via another method and ensure it is rectified.
