I have recently upgraded to V14.16 & noticed it is very difficult to select a fill i.e. draw a rectangle & go to Draw/Fill/Selection & then try to click on the actual fill colour. I want to change this to a white background & move it to back in order to show text over a satellite image.
In previous versions, Fills was the first item selected.
Any assistance would be great, or a method or trick to select the fills only.
Thanks, Damian.

Re: Selecting Fills in V14 Pro
Hi Damian,
I believe this was a purposeful change, specifically because most people don't like the functionality you describe (i.e., the fill would often be selected when you were trying to select something 'on top' of it). You need to select the fill by clicking its edge. However, if you have "filled" a rectangle the way you detailed, it will probably be selected in preference. The easiest way to select the fill is to delete the rectangle and click the edge, but if you want to retain the rectangle you can use window select (click and drag with the select tool).
Regards,
Dan

Another tip is to hold the Ctrl key down and then left-click when in Select Object mode. This will bring up a list of the near-by items and you can select the required item from the list before actioning Change, Move, etc.
