Old reports not working after Windows Update

Post by LArndt »

Hi All,
my "Old Reports" stopped working after Windows updated.

We use the "Old Reports" - "Bill of Material Reports" - "Inventory" as our materials take off, and the the excel is set up to receive a simple copy past out of it. After Windows updated, I can go to the reports, but selecting it results in nothing happening.

My current Windows version:
Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 1903
Installed on: 10/07/2019
OS build: 18362.418

Do you have any recommendations as to what I can try to re-enable the old reports?
Many thanks,
Lars

Edit: My current Irricad info:
Standalone V17.03
Edit2: Unrelated but not, do old reports work in Link?

Hi Lars,

It sounds like the ReportViewer may have been quarantined by your anti-virus. Follow the forum post steps in https://www.irricad.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=676 .
Note that the access to the old reports may not be available in the future and therefore we recommend that you use the new reports with a template that exports directly to CSV file. Then the reports will be the same in IRRICAD Standalone and IRRICAD Link. We already have many templates converted for CSV exportation so may have the ones you want on hand. If not, we can create them for you upon request.

The IRRICAD Team.

Thank you Jo, that recommendation worked.

We will soon be implementing a new ERP, at which point our materials take off will be re-vamped and I'll evaluate the existing regular reports.

Best regards,
Lars
