riser information

Post by Miguel_l_e »

Hello everyone, hoping you are doing very well right now.

I have a question, as I add information from the riser in the spray irrigation block section, I need to add something in the database where specifically.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Miguel,

Riser information is contained in the "Outlet Connector" component group of the database.
The important information is:-
- Height above ground - this is what will place the outlets above the ground at the specified height
- Equivalent Length Diameter - the diameter of the riser and any fittings associated with the riser, e.g., if the elbows are smaller than the riser enter the diameter size that you wish to be used in the headloss calculation.
- HL Equivalent Length - the total length of the riser comprising of total length including what is buried below ground and the equivalent length of any elbows, etc.

I trust this helps.
