Helo!
In my drip irrigation projects I try to use a minimum inlet pressure so that the end has a final outlet pressure and minimum speed of 0.4m/s for system flushing.
Question: Using an "X" inlet pressure, how to check the minimum flow velocity at the end of the dripperline?
Is this possible on irricad?

Hi Marcio,
You can use the inbuilt flushing analysis. This will produce a flushing report that shows the velocity at the end of each tape.
If you are using Tape Irrigation Blocks you can set up the flushing manifolds in the "Flushing" tab. Otherwise use the "virtual" manifolds as per the Design|Design Parameters|Hydraulic Parameters - Flushing Parameters settings.
For the use of the flushing functions read Help|Help Topics - User Manual -> Management & Designing the System -> Flushing Calculations.

Helo!
Trying to do it here, but in the report the final flow and final velocity are zeroed!
Could you help me?

Hi Marcio,
You need to set the manifold number to flush in Zone Design Configuration. For the virtual manifolds this number will be a negative number - as you see in the reports.
For example to flush manifold -34 enter -34 in to the Manifold column for Bloco No. 1.
Note that only one manifold can be flushed at a time.
