I went over the minor losses in the User Manual > Advanced Topics, and the Outlets Connections chapter in the database help, and just to be sure I've got it right, I have tow questions as shown in the attached screenshot:

Hi Ari,
1. Yes, the headloss in the outlet connector is calculated as a friction loss based on the HL equivalent length (total length) and HL equivalent diameter (ID) entered in the Outlet Connector in the database.
2. Minor losses for connections to pipes (outlet connectors or laterals) are based on the minor loss calculation as explained in the manual. The Kd is only used for internal emitters (tapes/dripline).
