If your IRRICAD Link V20 Database Editor gives a "Data source name not found and no default driver specified" message but IRRICAD Link does not then download and run this batch file.
1. Download https://www.irricad.com/irricad/downloa ... D32DBS.zip.
2. Browse to where the downloaded file has been saved on your hard-drive. Extract the contents by double-clicking on the zip file to open it and then dragging the bat file into the DBSupport folder, commonly located at C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link AutoCAD\DBSupport for AutoCAD or C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link BricsCAD\DBSupport for BricsCAD.
3. Browse to the folder in step 2 and right-click on the FixIRRICAD32DBS.bat file and select “Run as Administrator”.
As per the instructions in the command prompt, press any key to finish.
Note that if a "Access Denied" message is received you will need to run the command prompt under As Administrator.
a. Browse to C:\Windows\SysWow64 and right-click on CMD.exe and select “Run as Administrator”. (Or in the Search field type CMD and then right-click on the CMD.exe and select “Run as Administrator”).
b. Change the folder to the DBSupport folder in the installed IRRICAD Link folder, e.g. C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link Bricscad\DBSupport or C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link Autocad\DBSupport.
In the command prompt type in cd C:\ <enter>
cd program files<enter>
cd Irricad Link Bricscad<enter> or cd Irricad Link Autocad<enter>
c. Then type FixIRRICAD32DBS and press enter.
Hopefully you should see a “this was run successfully…” message.
Note that if IRRICAD Link itself gives this error then please follow the forum post " Error: Data source name not found and no driver specified or ODBC MSAccess Driver Login Failed" (viewtopic.php?p=1394#p1394)
