Part Circle Sprinklers for Field Edges

Post by Declan Cowag »

Hi there,

Is it possible to create a Spray Irrigation Block, but then assign the sprinklers on the edge of the field as part circle sprinklers? Or do I have to create individual Spray Lines and adapt each head?

I am using Nelson R2000WF in my design, who have a part circle model for the same sprinkler, but the part circle has slightly different flow rates and nozzles etc.

Thanks

Declan

Hi Declan,

Using the same method as described in the "How To" forum post "Changing Lateral Sizes in a Spray Irrigation Block" (viewtopic.php?p=190#p190) you can change the outlets on selected laterals by using a reference drawn outside the block. Note, that to be able to change the outlets the irrigation block will need to be 'unconnected' (that is, separate pipe and sprinklers when placed), which they should already be for the type of sprinkler you are using.
