If the wires display on an angle and in the 'Sprinklers and Valves' legend this is caused by a rare issue that occurs if you draw in the wire before point objects, (such as outlets, valves and water supplies). To fix this, other than exploding the legend and making manual changes, delete the wire using Select All and Delete Type. Once the wires have been removed run File|Repair to remove the wires from the design's internal database. Now re-draw the wire onto the plan and then re-create the plot layout. The wire will now be displayed in the pipe legend correctly.
