If IRRICAD Link V21 loads intermittently, even after restarting the computer, when running Windows 11 then you may need a newer sentinel driver.
Of course, first check that the dongle is securely plugged in or try a different port.
Note that the symptoms seen in BricsCAD will be:-
- the IRRICAD Link splash screen will not appear
- the command line will display "ARX load failure - Irricad64.brx"
Note that the symptoms seen in AutoCAD are likely to be:-
- the AutoCAD splashscreen will hang when trying to load the Irricad64.arx file, even when all other USB devices (except the IRRICAD Dongle) have been removed.
If AutoCAD does finish loading then the IRRICAD Link splash screen will not appear and the command line will display "ARX load failure - Irricad64.arx"
Solution:-
1. Download the new driver from https://www.irricad.com/irricad/downloa ... r7.7.1.exe .
2. Run the downloaded executable.
Note that if your dongle is networked you may need to rest the networking settings, as per the network installation procedure (downloadable from https://www.irricad.com/irricad/downloa ... driver.pdf ). Install the newer driver on to all computers using the networked dongle.
If this does not solve the issue, then your dongle may be at fault. Try your dongle on a different machine.
Note, if IRRICAD Link always works well after a computer restart but never loads the Irricad64.brx / arx file in subsequent IRRICAD sessions please let us know. You may require a slightly different brx / arx file.
