Drip Sides on Curves

Post by Rubem »

I need to develop a project where the drip lines follow contour lines and are therefore curved. I have a problem where irricad can't draw curves, it always generates sharp edges. Is there something specific in irricad to meet this demand, or is there a plan for implementation?

Hi Rubem,

While you can draw a tape with as many segments as required to form a pseudo-curve, this can be a lot of work.
However, Irricad can convert curved lines into polyline tapes that are a usually good representation:

You can also use the tape block tool to create a block of curved (or 'bent') tapes. Please see the release notes "Previous Additions and Bug Fixes > In Version 19 > Polyline/”Bent” Tape Blocks" for more information.

Dan
