IrriCAD Link V21 - Civil 3D 2023 fatal error

Post by Pancho »

Hello,

I have just installed the latest patch for IrriCAD Link V21.23.33 on Civil 3D 2023. However, I created a new irrigation block in a design I made before installing the new patch, and it showed a fatal error. I have already checked all the IrriCAD layers, and they are unlocked.

My operating system is Windows 11.

I urgently need your help to resolve this issue.

Hi Pancho,

Do you mean that the design has a fatal error upon opening or when you are trying to edit the design in 21.23.33?
It sounds like you will need to send your design for us to have a look at. You can send this to your local support team or to us at Support@IRRICAD.com.

I have no problem opening the DWG file and drawing. It is when I create the “Spray Irrigation Block” with the “trim ends” option, and it asks, “Block laterals or outlets should be deleted/exploded independently. Continue?” When I click Yes, the fatal error occurs.
I will send my DWG file by email.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, it does appear that Link Version 21.XX.33 has an issue with trimming unconnected spraylines when using the Irrigation Spray Block options, causing a crash in AutoCAD and leaving open transactions in BricsCAD.

Until this is fixed the method to use is the Trim Spraylines tool available in the Irricad Tools menu or IRR_TRIMSPRAY.
Draw the Trim Spraylines lasso around the block and all lateral past the last outlet will be removed.
You can include multiple blocks within the lasso.
