Hi there,
My Irricad-Link V22 is not launching. It starts to launch and before the irricad logo pops up the screen turns white and stops responding. I've tried restarting multiple times, taking dongle in and out, cleaning etc but nothing seems to work. regular Bricscad launches fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James

Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
This could be a dongle issue.
Are you able to run Standalone on your computer or try your dongle on another computer that has IRRICAD?
The other issue could be that you no longer require the other V20 brx type that was previously used on your computer.
(Note this issue has been overcome in Version 21).

Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
There is another check you can do in BricsCAD to check if it is hanging when loading the Irricad64.brx file.
1. Open plain BricsCAD.
2. In Settings|Settings (or CONFIG on the command line) open Program Options|Files
3. In the "Support file search path" add the location of your Irricad folder, e.g. C:\Program Files\Irricad\Irricad Link BricsCAD.
4. On the command line enter APPLOAD.
5. Browse for the Irricad64.brx file in your Irricad folder.
If this loads properly then the brx file is not the cause.
If you receive any messages then this should point you in the right direction of what to look for.
NB/ to undo the above and stop IRRICAD loading in your plain BricsCAD in future simply 'unload' the Irricad64.brx file via the APPLOAD command.

Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
Hi Jo,
I am able to load Irricad through bricscad and my dongle worked perfectly in a different computer.
Does this give any more insight into what the problem could be?
Edit: I can no longer open bricscad with irricad trying to load. crashes the same it does when trying to open through my irricad link icon.
Thanks

Re: Issues Launching Irricad Link
Hi James,
I was thinking that the issue might be the default template you are using in IRRICAD Link, however with your edit now saying BricsCAD won't load with the Irricad64.brx APPLOADed that doesn't seem likely.
To fix your plain BricsCAD try starting it in safemode so that you can unload the Irricad64.brx file via APPLOAD.
To run safe mode:-
1. Right-click on the BricsCAD desktop icon and select "Properties"
2. In the "Shortcut" tab, add /safemode to the "Target" line, for example
"C:\Program Files\Bricsys\BricsCAD V22 en_US\bricscad.exe" /P "Default" /safemode
We'll send you a different brx file to try.
