Hi.
is there a Mainline Hydraulic Misc. that represent an on/off valve that is open in certain system flows and closed in others?
thanks,
Ari.

Re: main line valves open/close by system flow?
Hi Ari,
Misc. Hydraulic items do not have an on/off function and cannot determine what is included in a system flow.
To analyse the system when the isolating valve is closed you will need to ensure that no zones downstream from the isolating valve are included in the system flows.
One method to ensure this has been achieved is to save a copy of the design and remove a pipe to disconnect the downstream items from the system. Then a warning will be given if any of these downstream zones are still included in the system flows.
