Hatch selection freezing up standalone v.21

I can fill seed area with solid colours but when I try to select a Hatch pattern software is freezing up and has to be reastarted.

Have checked drawing settings and all seem to be ok.
Tried with standard irricad database and fastquote just in case . still not happening.
As soon as I select a pattern it just starts looping as though it cannot find the patterns database.

Have also tried on two different computers / both running windows 11 with latest updates.

Hi Phil,

Firstly, try to turn off as many layers as you can so that the screen has the bare minimum displayed on it.
Secondly, it helps to zoom into the area that you are trying to hatch.
Does the hatching now work successfully?

If the issue persists please send the design to your local support team for assistance.

Tried a fresh start with 20mtr x 10mtr rectangle. turned off everything but drawing layer. still freezes up when selecting a Hash pattern.

I'll try and ring Gennaro next week see if he can help me out.

Just an update Jo...
Ive tried it on another computer without the update and all the hatches work fine.
Must be something with the update ????

This issue sounds like your hatch scales have been broken in a design, which is then remembered in the VCADD files for future designs.
It isn't caused by updating IRRICAD.

When this occurs go into "Select Object" mode (or double-escape) and type HX on the keyboard followed by the <Enter> key.
Then save the design.
(Note that you must be running in Version 21.33 or Version 22 for this command to work).

Had to try a couple of times and save then open new file. But finalkly got it working again.
