Aligning contour labels

I would like to see a feature developed that allowed you to align contour labels in a line so you did not have to search for the labels across the entire design area, ie. if you could draw a verticle (or other angle) line across contour lines and nominate the intersection point of the line and the contour as the placement point for the contour label it would be very easy to identify contours.

I know that the color highlighting feature helps with identifying of countours and i do use & like it however my clients and I myself find reading the actual contour label as the best way to identify contours accurately.

In addition to that suggestion maybe having a feature in the Contour/Label Text command to automatically label contours every 1.0m / 2.0m / 5.0m / 10.0m only?
