Pressure Map Tool

Post by Samantha »

pic.jpg
Hi ya'll,

In one of my practice designs mimicking an actual design, I ran a Pressure Map. When I was done,I noticed that at the ends of the tape and at each color change (Pressure variation)-there is a difference in the tape line thickness. If you'll see in the attached picture, the line starts out white/thin and a few feet up,it turns a yellow/'thicker line. Is this a mistake on my part? I looked at the Release Notes under Pressure Maps, and I didn't see the same thing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Samantha

Hi Samantha,

The thicker yellow lines are the pressure map over the block. The pressure map is a visual guide and has a dash of no colour between colour changes.
The reason the map does not go to the end of your block could be:
- you moved the pressure map symbol up
- the pressure map is changing colour at the end of the block and therefore you see the no-colour dash. If this is the case, try tightening or broadening the custom pressure limits in the map dialog and see if the map then goes all the way to the end on the block. If this does not work, you can send your design for us to look at.

Rgds,

Jo
