merging with Irrigation Supplier Prices
Do people use the pricing ability within Irricad to develop price proposals? One of my clients wants me to be able to use the Irricad database and merge with his pricing software, but not within Irricad. Is there an easy way to do that?

Hi Mike
If I understand you question correctly then it is possible to use Irricad to generate a BOM and then import it into a 3rd party pricing/inventory/warehousing system, I know of a number of users who do this. There a couple of requirements to allow this to happen:-
1) Irricad needs to export the BOM information in a form that the pricing software can import. This isn't normally a problem since the "Inventory" costing reports in Irricad produce CSV (comma separated values) files that are a standard format. In most other cases it would also be possible, if necessary, to make a custom report to suit the pricing software.
2) There needs to be some common link between the items in the Irricad and the pricing software database. The normal way of doing this would be to make sure that the warehouse codes for items in the Irricad database matched the codes for corresponding items in the pricing software.
