IrriCAD13 is driving me nuts. It has worked great for about 6 months, bit unstable but manageable.
I am using Windows 8.1 and in the last week have had some major issues. The ute file vanished. Today it is the above AVIS2D.ocx. I have tried the memo from Jo to no avail. What is going on?
I have uninstalled and re-installed a number of times, Matthew at Netafim has been very good but today is Saturday.

Re: AVIS2D.ocx Error in Windows 8.1
1) Log in as adminstrator.
2) Run the command prompt as Administrator.
To do so in Windows 8:
- swipe the left-side and in the Search field type cmd then right-click on Command Prompt and select "Run as Administrator".
or
- in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 right-click on cmd.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
3) Follow the instructions in Support FAQs http://www.irricad.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=320 regarding manually registering the AVIS2d.ocx file.
Note the UAC (user access control) setting may be interferring with this procedure. If so, set the UAC to 'Never Notify" in Control Panel | User Accounts. Click on the link "Change User Account Control Settings" and move the slide down to the bottom (Never notify). A restart is usually required.
