It would be great to implement a feature where we could model multiple laterals within any block entity.

For example. Design 1 has been completed, 6m row spacing, two laterals per row, with both laterals a nominal dripline lateral (Type 1) of 1.6lph @ 0.5m.

If an alternative configuration is required and the client would like three laterals, i.e., outside laterals to be Type 1 and the middle lateral to be Type 2 (another lateral SDR altogether).

Would be great to have an option to show the combination of laterals as one line (i.e same junction on the submain), so in the event of switching from two laterals to three, the submain sizes are unaffected.

I can think of other scenarios where this would be beneficial.

This is very similar to what I was thinking except I want a way to "attach" three lines to the same riser. We VERY often design dual dripline systems for stone fruit orchards. The dual drip lines share a riser. Sometimes, we will do a "dual drip" system with a third line of micro-sprays for frost protection. The third line is attached to the same risers, but may only be every-other row. Also, the micro sprays do not run with the drip they are only run for frost with the driplines turned off at the riser, but I need to calculate flows for the micros to make sure the whole orchard can be run at the same time with adequate coverage.

When multiple laterals are using the same riser you may find our “How To” forum post useful for fitting selection useful - “How To Correct Fitting Selection For Dual-Line Systems” (viewtopic.php?p=1398#p1398).

To design the situation you describe, place the frost lines on their own layer. Then alternate the “Scope” setting between Design + BOM and BOM Only with the dripline / frost line for the required design processes. Having the tapes and frost line on different layers will make the selection process much easier.
