Keyboard shortcuts

Good Friday afternoon, ;)

1- I was wondering if there is a list of keyboard shortcut commands available for CAD drawing?

2- I am particularly interested in drawing lines at specific angles, with the intention of converting them to pipes later.

I know that typing "length,<angle dimension" + Enter will draw a line of a specific length at a designated angle. For example, "100,<30" will draw a 100m line at a 30-degree angle relative to the X-axis. However, I am looking to draw connected lines where each angle is referenced from the previous line, rather than from the X-axis.

Kind regards

Gaby

Hi Gaby

Try using Draw | Polyline, then the length<angle method that you have been using. For example

Polyline
Start point
100<90
100<0
200<270

The lengths and angles are relative the end of the last segment drawn

For this to work, you will need to first convert the angles to be be relative to the X axis

"@" is supposed to be the switch for absolute coordinates.
@100<45
@100<90
@x,y

Thanks Nick. Gaby is working with IRRICAD Standalone rather than with IRRICAD Link. The @ symbol will not work in IRRICAD Standalone.

Sorry, I thought I saw she was using LINK. I guess I got this question crossed with another. :oops:
