Post by Nawar »

Hi, I have a landscape irrigation plan .I've tried manually branching Azud tube from sub-main 32mm PE pipe but I got an error message {Error.IDE_DES_487 (Dz_cnv) Branches or bends in tapes or drip lines are not allowed }. Kindly can you explain the problem ,why it does happen as it is normally method to draw a tape branches from sub main pipe and how this error be treated.More thanks.

Hi Nawar,

In Version 21 and older versions, a tape cannot have more than one connection. As long as the tape is a 'polyline' it can have bends in it but once additional junctions or connections are present you will receive the message. In these cases the tapes will not be able to be drawn exactly as installed.

In Version 22 (due for release shortly) tapes will be able to have multiple connections allowing for telescoping tape sizes, loops, manifolds, and branches.
