The Set Distance option allows you to specify the placement of the submain a set distance away from an existing line, such as a fence-line or block border. With this option selected (and a "Distance" entered) when drawing the block you will be asked to indicate the line parallel to the submain placement. The submain will then be drawn the specified set distance from the line you selected. You can also change your current submain placement to Set Distance after you have drawn the block.
