File Stamp Watermark

Hello,

After reading the tip about watermarking, I have a question/suggestion for the tool. Could it be possible to add a way to adjust at what level on the drawing the watermark is printed. For example, I have a map overlay that prints with my design that I have moved to the back, behind all other objects. I would like to print a watermark; however, I think the watermark is added at the very back of the drawing, behind that image. This means, the watermark is not visible. I suggest a symbol that holds the place (or level) of where the watermark will be added, thus allowing me to move the imagery behind the watermark. Feel free to throw out some other possible solutions. Thanks,

Corey

Hi Corey,

A "water mark" is inherently on the paper itself, which is why it is underneath the image and design.
Because the watermark tool is third-party software (Visual CADD) we do not have direct control over it and cannot change how it currently works.

Options would be to create text or your own water mark symbol over the top of your plan or on your plot layout and position it as required. If you have a space for it you can save this permanently in your plot template.

Jo
