Options to override the database colours

G'day Irricad Team,
It would be great if we had an option to change the colour of a block and/or the laterals only. This would allow some blocks to be easily differentiated from the others.
In the tape block entity for instance we could have 2 options,
1. 'Override the database colours" for the entire Block ie Laterals, Misc Hydraulics, Zone Pipe & Control Valve. Useful for greying out future or existing blocks
2. 'Override the database colours" for only the laterals ie so we can highlight the different varieties in a vineyard
Then if we wanted to 'activate' a block, we could set the colour properties to "By Layer"
Is this achievable?
