Elevation Difference Measuring Tool

G'day,
Similar to the "F9" Distance measuring tool, can we please see something to measure the elevation difference between any 2 points on the design.
This would be helpful in placing TNL/DNL's and I assume there are a number of other good reasons to see such a tool.

This has been added to the future features request list.
In the mean time you can use the Info Panel "Z Coord" option to show the elevation at each cursor position.

Hi Kosi,
The DI (DIST) tool in BricsCAD will show you delta X / Y / Z between elevation elements.
Not quite as convenient as the DEM, but it might help in some situations.

Thanks Dan
I don't get a delta z only a delta x and y. Delta z is always zero and design has been interpolated.
Was there another step?

Because this is a BricsCAD tool, you only get delta Z when you point at two things (e.g., spot heights or contours) that have an elevation value. The DEM is an Irricad thing that BricsCAD doesn't really know anything about. Like I say, perhaps not as useful as the tool you're after - it only really saves a little bit of mental arithmetic in certain situations.
