Irricad

When I make a change in the database while Irricad is running, does Irricad automatically update to reflect the change in the database, or do I have to manually update this or shut down the program and restart? Thanks. cgarrett

If you change an entry which is used in Design while the design is open, e.g. the pipe internal diameter, IRRICAD will use the change when designing the system.
Depending on which field has been changed IRRICAD may ask you to re-select the item.
If you have changed the description or warehouse code IRRICAD will always ask you to re-select the item.

Ideally save and close your design (File|New is sufficient) before making changes to the database. Upon re-opening the design IRRICAD will then ask you to select the changed items. If the design was open during database changes IRRICAD may ask you more than once to re-select the changed item(s).
