Zone Design Summary Report - not updating change

Is there a reason why the Zone Design Summary Report will not show the correct flow for a zone when I have changed the valve pressure on the zone? It seems that I can do the initial zone design with a given tape and pressure and get what seems to be the correct flow. When I change the valve pressure to attempt to balance the pressure in tapes, the flow reported in the zone design summary stays exactly the same. I would expect to see a difference depending on how much the pressure was changed.

I am not using a regulated tape. The zone design summary should give me the actual design flow correct?

I found that when changing the valve pressure from 11 to 16 psi, the pressure in each individual tape reflects the new pressure (according to the hydraulic grade line report), however the flow in each tape stays the same whether it is 11 or 16 psi. The tape is acting like it is pressure compensating, but it is not and as far as I know the database info is entered correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks...

Design uses the nominal pressure entered into the tape or outlet dialog to determine the flow. If the nominal pressure has not been changed the flow will stay the same.

To see how a valve pressure impacts on a zone use Detailed Analysis.
Detailed Analysis uses an iterative process to determine the actual pressure at each emitter and therefore the resultant flow. A valve pressure is required as a starting point.

See Help|Help Topics - User Manual > Management & Designing the System > Design > Detailed Analysis for further information.

It seems more as a problem in your database and this tape may be with exponent as 0
in any regular situation when the exponent itis different from 0 you will get a different flow when you change your pressure
