Warning INP1701

Post by aquacg »

Hi, Can anyone tell me why I get this Warning INP1701? The Irricad Help Index says it is
"INP 1701 : Can't position lateral boundaries
Under normal circumstances the user should not encounter this message. If this message does occur please save the design and contact your service agent or AEI Software."

I have had this problem before usually after I have subdivided a block into an odd shaped area. The problem was solved when I re subdivided the block a little differently. It gives me the option to continue or not, but either way, it won't create the laterals. Can I manually change the subdivided area and not have to redo the whole block? Or is there another answer? Thanks.

Hi Acuacg,

There may be several mitigating factors causing this error to occur. It is difficult to pinpoint from your image simply because we do not know the block properties you have requested. This issue may be related to the lateral direction, how the lateral direction is specified, or the submain placement.
Please email your design to Support@IRRICAD.com.
Note for priority support for the current version contacting your local support team may provide more timely support. Thank you for posting the question on the forum for the benefit of other users.

This warning also occurs when headlands/sidelands are such that it isn’t possible to draw an “internal” polygon – i.e. the shape of the block boundary is too “thin” in some places to fit in the specified headlands or sidelands.
