If Opening Reports Gives Fatal Error

When opening an IRRICAD or FastQuote report you receive:
Fatal Error
Error Copying Meta File:
C:\Users\(your login name)\AppData\Local\Temp\xxxx.MFT
(TransferMetaFile)
where xxx is the unique name of the temporary report file and the path is the location of your computer's Temp folder.
This seems to be related only to larger reports (e.g. 1 or 2 page reports may open without the error).
This is known to be caused by the latest McAfee Anti-virus update (10th December 2013).
If possible, add an exception /exclusion to the anti-virus program so *.MF* files in the Temp folder are exempt from on-access scanning. A computer restart may be required before the exclusions are applied.
