Hi there,

I use version 12.12; All of my new designs only display a solid line type for all pipework, tapes etc, despite having them set in my database to other lines type i.e. hidden, FL_X1 etc.

Repair will not correct the problem, & this is only a recent issue I am experiencing.

Any thoughts on what may have happened & how to resolve the problem.

Hi Damian,

It sounds like the Display "Line Type" is turned off in Settings|Drawing Items.
This will also affect geometric lines and only display them as the solid line type.
If the Display "Line Type" is enabled toggle it off and then on again.
Do the different line types now display?

Hi Jo,

The Line Types check box is/was on. It does not correct the current file by turning it on/off a few times.

Turning it on/off has corrected some other files, but the same problem still persists when starting a new design from scratch. It seems to be quite intermittent.
