Hi all, i'm German

I'm a new one from México here :D

I'm testing the new feature of obtaining elevations from Google Earth on IrriCAD V14, then export a drawing to DWG, but he contours lines don't conserve the elevation data.

Is that possible?, how?

Hi German,

Currently IRRICAD exports only 2D not 3D dxf/dwg files so the contours will not retain the elevation data in the exported file.
Because AutoCAD and DraftSight only import a narrow range of file types it is not currently possible to send elevation data from IRRICAD to AutoCAD.
This year we are developing an AutoCAD-like based IRRICAD which may help with exporting 3D information.

Thanks Jo :D

We're gonna be expecting for that, at least whit this obtaining the polygons from Google Earth it's easier.

Hello.
I am using Irricad 16 and I don´t know if it is possible to export 3D contour data to DXF/DWG?

Thank you.

Hi, The only way IRRICAD Standalone (Pro) can currently export elevation data is via KML/KMZ format. However IRRICAD Link, our plug-in version for AutoCAD and BricsCAD, saves the 3D data natively to DWG file. IRRICAD Link can also import KML/KMZ files if required.
