Crashing when repairing and running reports

I have IrriCAD v13.28. I am having trouble with 2 of 3 designs i am currently working on and this has been the first instance of this issue. When i try to run a materials report from the costing/BOM reports the system freezes and/or crashes. I tried repairing the design but IrriCAD crashes when it gets to the checking database procedure.

By isolating the components as design only and removing any errors in the fittings, i have been able to get some of the material. In the process i discovered that the misc. hydraulic items seem to be the culprit when it comes to generating a report. If i turn all misc hydraulics to design only then i can generate a materials report; otherwise, i cannot.

I have not been able to determine the cause for crashing when running a repair.

A known cause of this is that there is an assembly in the design which contains an item with the same name and warehouse code as the assembly. Make sure your assembly has a unique description and warehouse code.

Note that if you rename the assembly this will not fix the issue as the Assembly table in MS Access will still reflect the same items. For example, Assembly no. 780 will still have item No. 780 inside.

Delete the assembly and recreate it this time with a unique Description and Warehouse Code.

I believe that was the cause. I isolated groups of materials and exported them individually. This process worked for all but a few; which I then hard keyed into my parts list. With what you said, I investigated it and the items I could not export were assemblies I had duplicates of; one under the "valves" tab and the other under the "other hydraulics" tab in the database. They have the same assembly name and item code, but one is for mainline and the other for zone. This was due to the fact that mainline misc hydraulics item properties only displays items in the "misc hydraulic" tab of the database.

I will delete one of the assemblies and re-create it with a different name. Thank you for clarifying.
