Getting this error on importing a .dwg file: Open DWG Error #3

Hi,

Does the message include any other details?
If it is a translation message, has the DWG file been saved as 2012 format or older? FastQuote can only import up to and including AutoCAD 20102 format files so saving as an older version may fix the issue.
If it is a ViewPort message this suggests there is something strange with the Layout in the DWG file. If the layout is deleted the file should then import without issue.
The layout can easily be removed or the file saved as an older version though CAD software such as Draft Sight - download free from http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/ ... raftsight/ .

Yes its a Translation Message. Will try Draft Sight.
