After Upgrading from Old Version IRRICAD Crashes Immediately

If IRRICAD crashes immediately after opening AND the computer had an old IRRICAD version installed (such as Version 8) the cause could be the registry settings.
1. Open the registry editor (the easiest way to do this is to use the windows search to look for Regedit.exe) and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AeI Software\Irricad .
2. Right click on "Irricad" in the left pane and rename it to "Irricad1". (Note that all customised settings will be lost).
3. Now try to restart IRRICAD.
If this works then the settings of the previous version of IRRICAD were causing the problem.
