Error saving PDFs exported from Irricad

Hi All,
I've had trouble for some time with using the save as function in Acrobat (currently using Acrobat Pro DC) to save a copy/rename PDF files that are created by Irricad. I get the following error message "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (8)."
It appears to me to be a problem related to documents created with the Export PDF File function in Irricad. If I create a file using the print dialog and create it using and Adobe print function is works OK. The problem is that I receive PDF files from other Irricad users who create the PDFs with the Export PDF File function.
Does anyone else run into this problem? Can this be fixed or is there a work around?

Hi Brent,
We haven't heard of this issue previously.
Have you tried opening and saving these PDFs in another PDF reader/writer?
You are also welcome to send an example PDF to Support@IRRICAD.com for us to look at.

Acrobat Pro DC appears to have an issue re-saving PDF files that were created with the "Use Compression" setting enabled in the IRRICAD Export PDF function when an image or OLE item is present.
Normally we recommend to have "Use Compression" enabled when exporting to PDF however, if opening the file with Acrobat Pro DC turn "Use Compression" off.
The file will be rather large however, using "Save As" in Acrobat Pro DC will reduce the file size automatically.

Note that when opening an exported PDF file that contains images and was created using the "Use Compression" option in another editor "Save As" appears to work without any issue. There may be ways of manipulating the file inside of Acrobat Pro DC to enable it to "Save As".
