DLR in Germany have released a new global DEM dataset:
https://geoservice.dlr.de/web/dataguide/tdm90/
It has an reported absolute vertical accuracy of less than 10m, and a relative vertical accuracy of less than 2m (some media claims an accuracy of 1m!)
At present data can only be retrieved in raster form (DEM TIF images) and thus would require further processing to be used with Irricad.
