Hi guys.
Hoping someone can point me in the direct of a quick way to preview my .vcs files without having to "load" them into irricad in small batches. I'm sure there would exist some sort of viewer but I can't find one anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Brayden,
In IRRICAD Standalone the only way to do this is to load the symbols into the Symbol manager and then preview them one by one.
Apart from recreating a symbol with a new symbol name (the successful method of renaming existing symbols) in Version 15+ the Tools|Duplicate Symbol File function was introduced to enable successful renaming of existing symbols without having to recreate them.
Visual CADD, the engine that we use for IRRICAD Standalone, does not appear to have a symbol viewer.

Thanks for your quick reply!
That is quite unfortunate but I can see the challenges developing that feature would involve.
Hopefully someone in the community has discovered a work around that will let me preview them without importing otherwise I can see some long organizational hours ahead of me.

Hi Brayden,
It is relatively quick to load all symbols into Irricad to preview in the symbols dialog. You can load all the symbols in one go by selecting all of the files in the "Load" dialog.

Hope this helps,

Hi Dan.
Thanks for the info, this is what I am currently doing however in the interest of efficiency I was hoping for some sort of "Library Manager" where I could edit my symbols names and file locations. I believe it could be done using the API with some knowledge of C++ but it has been a while since I've used C++ so I am hoping someone has done the hard work for me.
Loving how active the forum is. Thanks guys!
