Elevation's data are lost once the design is exported

Post by xjhona1234 »

Morning,
I have a question about the elevation's data when a file is exported
Why does the contours lost its elevation once the design is exported?
I mean when I open the dwg or dxf exported file, the data inside the contours appears as 0
I attached a pic about it
Is there a possibility to fix that?
I haven't found the solution yet
Thanks in advance :D

As IRRICAD Standalone is a 2D program the elevations data cannot be exported out to DWG or DXF file.
However, the elevations can be exported out in a KML file - remember to enable the "Export Elevations" option.

There are free online KML to DXF converters, some working better than others.

Alternatively, if you have access to IRRICAD Link you can import the KML file via the Import Contours function and either save as a DWG or DXF file for others to be able to import the elevation information.
