How to make a hydraulic simulation of direct pumping from a deep well where the motor pump will be 60 m below the ground surface?
See attached schematic drawing.

Hi Marcio,
It isn't important to IRRICAD where the pump is actually placed down the well, but where the water level is sitting below ground level. Set the water supply pressure to mirror the water level (for example, -10 equals 10m below the ground level) for the pump to be able to supply the correct amount of pressure the system. The Rising Column length and losses can be added to the hydraulic design via a Misc. Hydraulic item. Of course for submersible pumps you may also need to allow for the drawdown, if this is significant.
This is explained in the manual as well as the advanced tutorial "Using a Pump in a Design".
I trust this helps.

OK!
Where do I find the advanced tutorial "Using a pump in a project".
Could you share the link?
thanks always for the guidelines.
